The rehabilitation of Shushtar cable bridge is nearing its end
Following the completion of the site setup and the start of rehabilitation activities for Shushtar cable bridge site, the series of activities desired in the project has been started and most of them have been completed. The most important of these stages are:
• Construction of under-deck visit carriages and their repairs
• Open the existing 144 anchor caps and visit strands and wedges
• Measurement of force inside cable bundles by “cable vibration” method (for the first time in Iran)
• Inspection of HDPE pipes to ensure that the pipes do not fail and break with the help of a helishot
• Inspecting inside of the Embedded Tubes to ensure that there is no water leakage and rust inside them
• Supply of metal plates to clamp deck parts
• Preparation of seismic isolators to replace existing bearings with them
Continuation of the post tensioning operation of the northern freeway bridge of Karaj
The construction of the deck and the implementation of bridge post tensioning operations continued last year. The deck segments are made one by one by molding and applying the post tension system and are growing in a cantilever shape on both sides of the piers. So far, 9 segments have been built on each side of each of the P1 and P2 piers, and thus half of the construction work of the entire deck has been completed. At the same time as the deck is being implemented, the bridgestay cable system is also being implemented. In parallel with the isostatic cable system, the duct of hyperstatic cables is also being implemented so that after the completion of the deck construction, the hyperstatic cables will also be executed and stressed.
Repair of the Karun Island Cable Bridge in Ahvaz
Due to the damage of a number of cables of the Island Cable Bridge located in the city of Ahvaz, a project was defined by the Ahvaz Municipality to replace the damaged cables and visit all the cables of the bridge. It was decided that in this project, while replacing the damaged cables, the health of all the bridge cables would be inspected and the force of the cables would be adjusted again and the pylons would be verticalized. Due to its extensive executive record in the field of construction of cable bridges, Payab Zamzam Company was selected by the city council and municipality to carry out this project. The above operation began at the end of 2022 and was successfully completed within two working months. This bridge consists of two pylons, of which 14 cables are connected to the deck from each pylon. The design of the bridge has been done in such a way that the combination of the steel arch of the bridge and the mentioned cables jointly carry out the load. Unfortunately, due to overloading, a number of bridge cables were torn, all of which were replaced and modified during the project. Doing suspended scaffolding under the deck to access the anchor heads was one of the problems of this project. Due to the rupture of a number of cables and the asymmetric impact on the bridge, the pylons were also out of the original vertical state, which was also solved during the improvement operation.
Sadr Elevated highway in Tehran
Implementation of 3 km double deck on two sweeping runways with gantry cranes in full form was the project task. This bridge was constructed on the Sadr Highway in Tehran using giant Lunching Gantry cranes using the span-by-span method. The supply of molds for the prefabricated parts of the bridge in the number of 40 sets, the supply of 4 installer gantry machines, the supply of 6500 tons of pre-stressed materials of the bridge and the implementation of half of the entire route were done by Payab Zamzam Company. The construction operations were carried out continuously and 24 hours a day, and every 4 days 40 meters of the bridge route were completely constructed.
The construction of concrete sections of the deck of the Shahid Sadr highway and Caravansara Sangi bridges were also done in cooperation between Payab Zamzam and Liando Company of China.

Babolsar Suspension Bridge
Design, procurement of materials and implementation of the cable section of the bridge was the ob tasks. This bridge is the first suspension bridge for pedestrians in the country in the city of Babolsar. In addition to providing pedestrian access to both sides of the river, this bridge also has a monumental aspect and attracts tourists for Babolsar city.
The supply of cable materials and ancillary equipment of the bridge along with the installation of the suspended cable and its connection to the deck was done by Payab Zamzam Company.

The Lali Bridge
This bridge has been built as the largest stay cable bridge in the country over the Gotvand Dam lake and is located on the road connecting Masjed Soleiman to Lali. The Lali cable bridge has been one of the side projects of the Upper Gotvand Dam and Power Plant project. In fact, this bridge was a replacement for another bridge that was flooded during the completion stages of construction and during the dam’s imponding. The purpose of the Lali cable bridge was to connect the two cities of Lali and Masjed Soleiman, as well as to establish a connection between the oil and gas fields on both sides of Gotvand Lake. Supply of materials for the cable section of the bridge was PZ task. The Lali Cable Bridge was put into operation in August 2011.

The Eighth Ahvaz Bridge
Supplying materials, equipment and implementation of the cable section of the bridge was done by PZ in this project. This Bridge is the largest urban bridge in the Middle East over the Karun River in the city of Ahvaz. That bridge connects the Amanieh area and Takht-e-Soleiman Street in the west of the Karun River to Zand Street in the east of this river.
The construction of the 8th Bridge of Ahvaz with a height of 81 meters was done using a hydraulic climbing mold and in cooperation with Zulin Company of China. Payab Zamzam Company supplied all the cables of the bridge and was responsible for the full implementation of the cable section of the bridge. This bridge is now known as the symbol of Ahvaz city.

Karun Island Bridge
Supply of stressing equipment and implementation of the cable section of the bridge.
On the banks of the Karun River in Ahvaz and in Khuzestan province, there is an island amusement park, which is connected to this complex through a suspension and non-fixed bridge in the west of Karoon. The installation of cables and the implementation of the cable section of this bridge were carried out by Payab Company.

Imam Hossein Bridge in Mashhad
This bridge has been built on Imam Hossein Square in the holy city of Mashhad. Due to many land opponents, it was decided to implement this bridge in an elevated level (instead of underpass). The supply of all cable materials and the implementation of bridge cables was done by Payab Zamzam Company.

Imam Reza Bridge in Abadan
Supplying materials, equipment and implementation of the cable section of the bridge was the job task.
Abadan’s cable bridge is located in the Farhangian neighborhood and is known by the common name (Abolhassan tank), which is located almost in the center of this city and one of the main entrances of the city and next to the main bridge that crosses the Bahmanshir River. The bridge has two sets of pylons with 16 cables on each side.

Qazvin Imam Ali Cable Bridge
Supplying materials, equipment and implementation of the cable section of the bridge was done by PZ in this project. Imam Ali cable intersection has been built with the aim of improving urban traffic, completing the western ring of Qazvin city and connecting the fast route of the western ring of the city from Imam Ali, Shahid Bahonar and Moallem boulevards to the Qazvin-Zanjan highway and creating a suitable entrance for the city of Qazvin. This cable intersection consists of two bridges with a width of 13 meters each and a total length of 640 meters. The distance between the two bridges is 4.5 meters and its maximum height is 11 meters.

Tehran Silk Cable Bridge
Supplying materials, equipment and implementation of the cable section of the bridge was within the project task. The Silk Bridge is located on the Hemmat Highway, connecting Bandar Park to Nowruz Park. This bridge weighs about 130 tons and is considered the sixteenth longest bridge in Tehran in terms of length. The Silk Bridge is not designed for the passage of cars, and only pedestrians, cyclists, and strollers can cross. This bridge is the first pedestrian bridge in the country that has been implemented in the form of a truss cable with a tilted pylon. The implementation of the cable section has been done by Payab Company.

Shahid Bakeri Bridges in Tehran
Supply of materials and implementation of the bridge pre-tensioning section was the job task. The construction of Shahid Bakeri Highway began in 2006 and its first opening was the intersection of Shahid Bakeri Highway and Shahid Hemmat Highway, and it was completed on November 9, 2013 with the opening of two non-level bridges in it. This project includes the implementation of pre-stressing operations of three bridges at the intersection of Shahid Bakeri Highway and Niayesh Highway, Shahid Hemmat Highway and Laleh Street. The supply of pre-stressed materials for these bridges for the installation and reinforcement of the concrete structure was done by Payab Zamzam Company.
Zeineddin Bridge, Tehran
Supply of materials and implementation of the bridge pre-tensioning section was performed by PZ in this project. Shahid Zeineddin Highway is located in the 4th district of Tehran and is one of the main thoroughfares of Tehran. This bridge has been implemented along the East Hemmat highway to Hakimieh in Tehran with two lanes and in the form of a voided box. The Shahid Zeineddin Highway connects to important roads such as Imam Ali Highway, Bagheri Highway, and Shahid Hemmat Highway.
In this bridge, very strong cables and very heavy jacks were used to stress the cables.

Karaj Janbazan Bridge
Supply of materials and implementation of the bridge pre-tensioning section was done in this project. This bridge has been built on Janbazan Square, located at the Azimieh intersection of Karaj, in the form of a box in two lanes. This bridge with a length of 948 meters and a deck width of 27.4 meters has 3 runways in each direction. For the construction of the bridge deck, a retracted pre-stressed concrete hollow slab system has been used. Also, due to the compression of reinforcement, the concrete is self-compacting (SCC) and the ramps have been implemented with a geogrid system.
The implementation of the pre-stress system of this bridge has been done by Payab Zamzam Company.

Shahid Eskanderloo Bridge
This bridge is located at the intersection of Azadegan-Imam Ali highway and consists of 3 pre-stressed bridges with hollow slabs. The reinforcement of the concrete structure of the bridge was done by the passage of pre-stressed cables through the steel ducts. The supply of cable and anchorage materials as well as the implementation of the post-stress system of this bridge were done by the personnel of Payab Zamzam Company.
